March is Women’s History Month, and in honor of the occasion, we are spotlighting amazing Women in Tech leaders who are shaping history across the open networking & edge ecosystems, particularly as part of the ONE Summit agenda.The upcoming Open Networking & Edge (ONE) Summit is set to showcase a plethora of insights and real-world experiences aimed at inspiring all attendees to embrace their passions with confidence.
Radia Perlman, Dell EMC Fellow and network industry pioneer, will grace the keynote stage to discuss A Decade of Innovation, the Past, Present and Future, alongside Martin Casado and Jan Uddenfelt. Perlman has made many contributions to the fields of network routing and security protocols; her accolades includes authorship of several textbooks ( her most recent works includes significant content about quantum computing and quantum-safe public key algorithms), numerous awards including induction into the Inventor Hall of Fame, induction into the Internet Hall of Fame, and she’s the designer of various network protocols that transformed routing and ethernet.
Another highlight includes the Elevate HER: Shattering Imposter Syndrome for Women in the Cloud Native Universe session. Featuring Harshita Sao (Independent), Sanchita Mishra (Odisha University of Technology & Research), Seema Saharan (Autodesk), and Aditya Soni (Forrester), this panel is essential for those eager to advance in the cloud native ecosystem. As CNCF Ambassadors, these speakers are prime examples of how meaningful contributions to the cloud native space can foster community support and lead to personal and professional growth. Their stories not only offer inspiration but also emphasize the critical role of allies across all genders, promoting a more inclusive and supportive tech environment for everyone.
