Session Highlights: Why Attend?
ONAP TSC Roadmap and Architecture Evolution will take a deep look at how ONAP is addressing past complexity concerns by embracing a more modular, flexible, and testable approach to network automation.
ONAP was originally introduced as a comprehensive end-to-end network automation platform, supporting capabilities such as service design, deployment, and monitoring; network and RAN slicing; policy-based closed loop automation; ETSI-based NS & VNF orchestration; and Helm-based CNF orchestration. While ONAP offered a rich set of features and use cases, it was often perceived as overly complex and difficult to deploy and operate due to its steep learning curve.
In response to these concerns, ONAP has evolved into a modular collection of network automation functions. Each component can now operate independently – from build to runtime – enabling more flexible deployment, easier testing and streamlining upgrades.
This session will present the latest ONAP architecture and operational model, highlighting its integration with cutting-edge industry technologies such as AI and GenAI. Join us to explore ONAP’s latest evolution and collaborate on the path forward.
