Linux Foundation Networking is pleased to announce the 2022 election of Olivier Smith as Chair of the Compliance and Verification Committee (CVC), as well as Yan Yang and Kanagaraj Manickam to the positions of Co-Chairs.
We would like to express our appreciation to Lincoln Lavoie, Marc Price, and Yan Yang for their contributions as the previous CVC Chair and Co-chairs. Each has been instrumental in the launching and shaping of Anuket Assured, our community-led compliance and verification program, used to demonstrate readiness of commercial cloud native and virtualized products and services – including NFVI, Cloud Native Infrastructure, VNFs and CNFs.
The vision for the Anuket Assured Program is to enable ongoing support for new infrastructures and workload technologies that are critical to the networking and telecommunication industry. Our efforts focus on end-to-end system validation and interoperability integration through all parts of the stack.
Over the next 12 months, the new CVC committee leadership will work to increase community participation and widen our collaboration across Linux Foundation projects. In addition, we plan to further develop program focus for verification of cloud native infrastructures and workloads, given the importance of these advancements for the success of 5G. We will continue to evaluate any new opportunities to support additional LFN projects as they arise. And we will continue to work with the community to ensure our activities align with the needs of members.
We continue to seek ways to provide valuable services to our community and look forward to working with all of you. For anyone interested, please help us drive the Anuket Assured program forward.
